The Architecture of the building is a new combination which takes a
model from guardians tradition by applying a universal style of Islamic
architecture on its primary building and by showing it's main dome
equipped with a pointed minaret, towering over the all four sides.
The feature of this mosque lies on the building which emulates the
principles of a cluster model and the existence of 6 giant electric
umbrellas for shading the pilgrims in the courtyard. These umbrellas can
open or close automatically as those in Prophet's Mosque in Medina.
MAJT has a tower of 99 M high which is called Al Husna Tower. There are
museum and Islamic café inside by which they can rotate around 360
degrees.
There is also a telescope inside used to view beautiful scenery of Semarang. For those who want to relax, MAJT also provides some facilities, such as playground and mini-trains that bring visitors around the mosque.
