a Natural Healing Pond Miracle Pond in The Middle of Natural Beauty

Situated on the slopes of Mount Slamet with ± 1050 m altitude above sea level is about 40 kilometers from Tegal bus station towards Purworejo regency. This place is easy to be found and reachable by public transport or private vehicle. Guci is a bathing place with a refreshing geothermal hot springs. Not only that visitor can enjoy a hot bath but also tour in the surrounding forest.
You can feel the warmth of the water which is also believed to be able to cure diseases. The most visited place is a shower bath called pancuran 13 which has thirteen showers. One of the reasons why people visit Guci is because it is free of charge. Beside pancuran 13 there is also pancuran 7 where visitors can enjoy themselves in the hot water.
Visitors can see many villagers bathing for the purpose of seeking blessings from God and to cure some diseases such as rheumatism, sores, or other skin diseases in this location.
There are 10 waterfalls in Guci hot water bath. At the top of the public baths pancuran 13, around 1 kilometer, there are waterfalls with cold water named 'Jedor waterfall'.
It is named so because it used to be owned by head of the village whose name is Jador. Visitors can enjoy this beautiful waterfall and at the same time walking along the streets and see hundreds of pine trees and feel the fresh air.

Located at an altitude of 1,200 meters above the sea level, this area lies on about 8,000 m2 area. Visitors can enjoy the beauty of Mount Merapi, Mount Merbabu, Mount Sumbing Sindoro, Mount Tidar, Mount Andong, Mount Menoreh and agricultural areas. In order to reach this place, visitors can go through several routes; from Magelang, Boyolali, or Salatiga.
Not only that it has the most amazing views of several mountains in Central Java, visitors can also enjoy some facilities offered in this tourism site such as a large parking area, toilets, gazebo, praying room, volcano theater, souvenir shops, vegetables stalls, restaurants, museums, and Mount Merapi binoculars.

Ketep Village, District of Sawangan, which is 17 km from the Blabak village to the East, 30 km from the downtown of Magelang, 35 km from Boyolali City and 32 km from the city of Salatiga.

Borobudur tample

Borobudur Temple
The world's largest Buddhist temple which is one of the masterpieces among the Seven Wonders of the World is located in the Borobudur Village, Borobudur district, approximatelly ± 3 km from Mungkid city. Borobudur was built by King Samaratungga, one of the kings of Ancient Mataram Kingdom, from the descendant of Wangsa Syailendra. Based on the Kayumwungan inscription, an Indonesian named Hudaya Kandahjaya revealed that Borobudur is a place of worship which was completely built on May 26th, 824 almost a hundred years since they first started the construction. According to several sources the name of "Borobudur" means as a mountain with terraces (budhara), while others says that it means monastery located on the high ground.
Borobudur temple was designed as staircase consistsing of 10 levels. Before Borobudur was renovated, the height of the temple was 42 meters and 34.5 meters after the reconstruction because the lowest level functioned as a barrier after being renovated. The six lowest square and top three circle and one of the highest levels of Buddhist stupa is facing to the West. Each level represents the stages of human life. In accordance with Mahayana Buddhism teaching, every person who wants to reach the level as the Buddha must passed through every level of human life. Kamadhatu, the lowest part of Borobudur (basement) symbolizing human beings that are bound by lust.
Whereas the other four levels above referred as Rupadhatu who symbolizes the ability of humanbeing to break free from his/her lust yet bound with manner and human form itself. On this terrace, the statue of Buddha is placed in an open space. Meanwhile, the other three levels above where the Buddhist stupas are laid in holes is called Arupadhatu, symbolizing humanbeing who has been freed from lust, appearance, and human form. The highest part is called Arupa symbolizes nirvana, where Buddha is residing

Mendut Temple
It is a Buddhist sacred place beside the Borobudur Temple. Mendut Temple is 4 km away from the Buddhism monastery. The temple has a Pyramid shaped roof and in which there is a statue of Buddha flanked by two statues.

Pawon Temple
Pawon Temple is located on the Brojonalan District in the Borobudur subdisdrict. This Buddhist temple used to be a place to keep the weapons of King Indera Vajranala, this story was based on the fact that were found in Karang Tengah inscription made on 824 AD. This temple was made of volcanic stone. From the perspective of the architecture, Pawon Temple is a combination of both ancient Javanese Hindu and Indian architecture.

The location of Pawon Temple is right on the axis line connecting the Borobudur and Mendut Temple. Besides the location of the temple, we can find many similarities on motives carved in the three temples are also prooved that there was relationship between those three Buddhist temples. Masjid Agung Jateng

The Architecture of the building is a new combination which takes a model from guardians tradition by applying a universal style of Islamic architecture on its primary building and by showing it's main dome equipped with a pointed minaret, towering over the all four sides.
The feature of this mosque lies on the building which emulates the principles of a cluster model and the existence of 6 giant electric umbrellas for shading the pilgrims in the courtyard. These umbrellas can open or close automatically as those in Prophet's Mosque in Medina. MAJT has a tower of 99 M high which is called Al Husna Tower. There are museum and Islamic café inside by which they can rotate around 360 degrees.
There is also a telescope inside used to view beautiful scenery of Semarang. For those who want to relax, MAJT also provides some facilities, such as playground and mini-trains that bring visitors around the mosque.

Jawa Tengah Great Mosque (MAJT) is magnificent and spectacular building, with an area of 10 acres that can accommodate around 13 thousand pilgrims. This place is located at Jl. Gajah, East Semarang. Candi Sukuh dan Cetho

Sukuh Temple
This temple is located in western part of Lawu mountainside, about 910 m above the sea level. It was built in 15 or 16 century during Hindu Majapahit kingdom era. It has approximatelly 5,500 m2 of area. The main building has 910 height above sea level and almost similar with pyramid in Mexico.
The main gate is decorated with a giant head which symbolized reliefs of "Candra Sengkala." It represents the year of the temple founding. Beside the reliefs of candra Sengkala, there is also a small temple with erotic reliefs. Actualy it is a symbol of true life teaching and a series of relief that tells about Garudeya and Sudhamala story with liberation as its theme. This temple used to be a worship place and a place to have a religious ceremony religion but now days it is only use a meditation place. Sukuh temple located in Berjo village, Ngargoyoso district, we can go there by pedestrian public transportation from Karangpandan to Ngargoyoso (Sukuh Temple).

Cetho Temple
The temple is Located in Gumeng village, Jenawi district in the western part of Lawu mountainside. It stands on the hill with beautiful view and surrounded by tea plantation. This temple has its own speciality it is different with any other temple exixted in Central Java. In order to get to this temple, we must go to a high through tea plantation and forest. Cetho Temple is one of Hindu heritage which was build in the end era of Majapahit governance (15th century). The first scientific report was made by Van de Vlies in 1842. There is also A.J. Bernet Kempres who conducted research about this temple.

The first restoration was done for the first time in 1928 by department of archeology owned by Dutch government. Based on the condition when the ruins were found, the temple was built on relatively the same year as Sukuh Temple. Location of this temple is in Ceto village, Gumeng village, Jenawi District, Karanganyar Regency, 1400 m above sea level. Nowadays the temple complex is used by local Hindus people as worship place and it is also popular as meditation place for people who believe in Javanese religion/ Kejawen.
