Candi Gedong Songo located on
the slopes of Mount Ungaran, precisely at District Ambarawa, Semarang regency
and temple complex was built in the 9th century AD. This area has
beautiful natural scenery. Around the site there is also a neat pine
forests and springs that contain sulfur. The temple has similarities with
Dieng temple complex in Wonosobo. The temple is situated at an altitude of

On the sidelines of the Candi Gedong III to Gedong IV, there is a mountain kepunden as a source of hot water with a high sulfur content.
